Katrina Kuivinen

Katrina Kuivinen is an artist with a passion for all things wildlife. Having a huge interest in biology, Katrina attended Pacific Lutheran University to pursue a degree in that field, only to discover her true calling and graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree. Art has always been a part of her life, but in October 2014, it was the very first time she showed her work to the public.

Being a self-taught artist is a constant learning experience, but it also helps to make her pieces even more unique. She even makes her own wood frames from fallen timber from previous winter storms at her own home located in Graham Washington. Thanks to the support of her husband and three children, she is able to start sharing her love of wildlife through her pastels and oils.
