Dianne Gardner

Both an award winning studio painter and plein air painter, Dianne has been painting in oils for more than 50 years. She is a signature member of Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists and has studied with notable masters such as John Henry Waddell, master sculptor in Arizona and Washington artist Ned Mueller. Her paintings are with collectors all over the world.

She was the resident artist for the Washington State Renaissance Fair for three years painting portraits from life. In the summer, Dianne spends much of her time participating in outdoor plein air events with the Plein Air Washington Association.

Dianne also is the exclusive artist for Perennial’s Vintners Estate Wine labels.

Her style is considered impressionistic realism, and her work has been included in book illustrations and cover art for novels.

Owners of her portraits include J.R.R. Tolkien’s great grandson, Royd Tolkien, actor Bruce Hopkins, Bremerton artist and gallery owner, Amy Burnett, and former owner of the Washington State Renaissance and Fantasy Fair Ronald, Cleveland.

Dianne is and has been accepted as a member of Oil Painters of America, International Guild of Realism, The Portrait Society of America, Peninsula Art League, Plein Air Washington, Landscape Painters of America, National League of American Pen Women, and PSGNWA. She is also a member of the South Kitsap Artists Association.
